GORT® Professional Quality Standard
Since 2009, we have adhered to the GORT® Professional Quality Standard. This scientifically developed model (Utrecht University) sets our quality standards.
Our professionals must meet more than 20 strict quality standards, which are continuously monitored by our quality manager. This way, we can always guarantee a stable and high-quality level of all our services.
The GORT® vision on coaching

Founded in 2009
2009 | START IN UTRECHT, Netherlands
GORTcoaching starts as the coaching practice of Occupational & Organizational Psychologist Tosca Gort in the Zakkendragerssteeg in Utrecht Center. There is immediately a high demand for quality coaching. By ’13, 25 specialized coaches/psychologists are working in 15 locations in the Netherlands. A quality manager is appointed, and several interns work for GORT.
2015 | GROWING IN AMSTERDAM
GORTcoaching continues to grow rapidly and moves the head office to Ruysschstraat in Amsterdam-East. GORTcoaching also becomes a family business. In ’17, we start with coach pool management. Later, this word and this way of working become the standard in the Dutch market.
2018 | GORT CONCEPTS & COACH TRAINING
We start offering, among other things, coach training and move the head office to Amsterdam. In ’20, we reach the magical number of 1000 coaching locations. GORTcoaching is now weekly in the press, and the GORT coaches are the highest certified (senior accreditation NOBCO) in the Netherlands.

From our specializations in coaching, psychology, outplacement, customized training, confidential advisors, intervision, teambuilding, team coaching, talent development, coach training, mediators, and relationship therapists, we want to make many more people in world happier, more productive, and more successful.
