Admission requirements

Intake:
After your registration, you will have an intake interview with our training consultant. During this conversation you can indicate all your wishes and expectations and you will have time to discuss together how you can successfully complete this training.

Study load

The total study load of the Foundation coaching course is 28 hours.

• Training hours (contact hours): 18 hours


• Practical assignments & Exam: 10 hours

Diploma and examination

After participating in the Foundation course, you will master the basic coaching skills, with which you will immediately take a wonderful first step towards becoming a professional coach. We distinguish between proof of participation and a diploma.

When will you receive proof of participation?
You will receive proof of participation in the Foundation training from us when you have been present during the training days.

When will you receive the internationally recognized NOBCO/EQA foundation level diploma?
You will receive the internationally recognized NOBCO/EQA foundation level diploma from us when you have passed the exam. The exam consists of conducting two coaching conversations of at least 1 hour with a trial coachee and writing a reflection report according to a fixed format. A re-examination is rare but can be done for an additional fee of €150.

A diploma from the Foundation course (part 1) gives access to our Practitioner Coach course.

Become a professional coach

This coaching training is the foundation for applying for your EIA Foundation quality mark from the NOBCO. You will receive a certificate of participation in the GORTcoaching Foundation training and an internationally recognized NOBCO/EQA foundation level certificate with which you can initiate the process at NOBCO.

Do you want to become a professional coach? Then look at the practitioner training.

The luxury option:
You can request help in obtaining the recognized EQA certificate. This makes it easier for you to later certify as an EIA foundation coach. You will then receive 1 hour of extra guidance (for example on your report or a certain methodology). Additional help costs €150 and is often booked by busy professionals who have less time to figure everything out themselves.
