I’m Tsjitske, a coach and psychologist here to support you with questions about life or work—especially if you’re feeling off balance or stuck in old patterns. In our sessions, we dive beneath the surface to uncover what’s really going on.
With clarity and compassion, I share my observations, ask questions that open new perspectives, and help you reconnect with your feelings, beliefs, and inner compass.
After seven years working in China, I returned to the Netherlands in 2025, bringing with me psychological depth, international experience, and three decades of expertise in connecting head, heart, and body.
If you’d like to explore what’s possible for you, you can book an introductory session or learn more through my online calendar—no strings attached.
You can contact me with questions about
Life-changing events
You’ve gone through something major—at work or in your personal life—and it’s left you feeling off-kilter. It could be dealing with illness (yours or a partner’s), losing a job, experiencing a miscarriage, moving to a new place, going through a divorce, or something similar.
Creating real change
You want to make a change in your life, but it’s just not happening. You know exactly what you’d like to improve, yet you’re not taking action. Maybe it’s living healthier, spending more time with loved ones, or setting better boundaries. It seems straightforward—but somehow, it’s not.
Psychological resilience
You might feel anxious, insecure, or tense, experiencing a range of symptoms—and despite your logical thinking, you can’t seem to change the situation. This constant tension takes a toll on your well-being, resilience, and overall vitality.
Inspiration and meaning
There’s this lingering feeling of dissatisfaction you can’t quite pinpoint. Maybe your work or life feels a bit lacking in inspiration or purpose, and you’re not sure what steps to take next. It’s like a part of you feels less alive, and you know you don’t want it to stay that way.
Contact and connection
You want to feel more connected to yourself and the people around you, but you’re not sure where to start. Maybe you’ve heard from others that you don’t always seem fully present. How can you stay in tune with yourself while also being truly present with the people who matter most?
Stress and people-pleasing
You put so much energy into pleasing, caring for, and supporting others that you often forget about yourself. While it’s great for colleagues, clients, and friends, this “disease to please” comes with a price. Your workload becomes overwhelming. You’re juggling too many things, and sometimes they slip. Your patience wears thin, and you can feel your capacity slowly shrinking.
This is how I work
Your question is always the starting point. From there, I work with you to figure out what will truly help you move forward. I listen to your story — and to who you are. Together, we dig into what’s happening beneath the surface: feelings, beliefs, patterns, and those inner saboteurs that might be holding you back. I share what I notice with clarity and compassion, asking questions that prompt reflection and guide you inward — toward clarity, choice, and resilience.
My approach is holistic: engaging not just your mind but also your heart and body. Especially after major events or during stressful times, it’s important to tap into the wisdom of the body — after all, “the body keeps the score.”
When helpful, I support you in turning insights into real, concrete actions, so you’re not just understanding what’s going on but actually making moves toward different behaviors and outcomes.
