Do you recognize the pressure of modern life as a young professional? The constant social expectations, overstimulation, high workload, FOMO, and the search for meaning, love, and happiness. In a city like Amsterdam - full of possibilities, but also high expectations - it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or stuck.
And if you’re an expat, there’s often an extra layer: building a life far from home, without the familiar support system, and having to navigate so much on your own.
It’s completely understandable if you feel stressed, overwhelmed, or stuck. Maybe you want to move forward, but don’t yet know how. We often try to figure everything out on our own, but it’s okay to ask for support. Together, we can explore what’s holding you back and take the first steps toward a life that truly fits you.
You can contact me with questions about
Career & Outplacement Coaching
Are you at a crossroads in your career? You might feel stuck, question whether you’re still in the right place, or be facing an unexpected transition after redundancy or reorganization. I help you land, regain clarity, and find a new direction, with space for both emotional processing and what comes next. In career and outplacement coaching, we look beyond what you can do and focus on what truly fits you. Together, we explore what drains you, what lights you up, what truly drives you, and which choices you may be making out of expectation rather than from yourself.
Confidence & Your Inner Critic
You constantly hear that critical inner voice telling you you’re not good enough, causing you to doubt yourself and your choices.
Self-development, Identity & Meaning
Who am I, and what do I truly want to work toward?
Social Pressure & FOMO
You feel pressure to meet expectations (at work and beyond) which leaves you feeling overwhelmed and unsure about your own decisions. You often compare yourself to others: people who seem to be moving ahead faster or living the “perfect” life on social media, while you’re left with the feeling that you’re falling behind or missing out.
People-pleasing & Setting Boundaries
You find it hard to say no out of fear of conflict or rejection – toward friends, colleagues, or managers – and end up crossing your own boundaries, feeling drained or burnt out.
Stress & Energy Balance
You have a lot on your plate, but feel tense and exhausted. It’s hard to truly rest, slow down, or be present. You don’t quite know how to manage your energy or create more balance and calm.
Perfectionism
You feel constant pressure to do everything perfectly – at work, socially, or for others. This can lead to stress, procrastination, and the feeling that it’s never quite good enough.
Do you recognize yourself in one or more of these themes? Let’s take the first step together.
This is how I work
As a coach with a psychological (MSc) background and experience in the corporate world, I work at the intersection of therapy and coaching. Together, we explore where your patterns come from and how you can work with them differently – today – in both your work and your life. I work in an open, insightful, and non-judgmental way.
How we work together
1. Getting clear on what truly matters to you
We start with your values, desires, and priorities – beyond expectations and “how things should be.”
2. Moving out of your head and back into connection with yourself
You learn to reconnect with what you feel – emotionally and physically – so you’re no longer living life mainly from your head.
3. Recognizing patterns that hold you back
We identify recurring thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors that show up when you feel stuck.
4. Understanding and letting go of what no longer fits
With depth and compassion, we soften old patterns and create space for something new.
5. Creating real change in everyday life
You practice making different choices: setting boundaries, taking yourself seriously, and living and working with more calm, freedom, and authenticity.
After the trajectory, you understand where your patterns come from, recognize them more quickly in the moment, and have practical tools to respond differently. Less driven by self-doubt or external expectations – more guided by yourself.
I work integratively and combine approaches such as positive psychology, NLP, and systemic work. A trajectory typically consists of 6–12 sessions, weekly or bi-weekly. Sessions take place either in person (90 minutes) or online (60 minutes).
Does this feel like a good fit for you?
