- Become part of a peer supervision group at GORT.
What do we ask of you?
- You have a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in applied psychology or a recognized 4-year post-HBO program in accordance with the requirements of the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP) and the European Association for Integrative Psychotherapy (EAIP).
- And as a relationship therapist, you have additionally completed training as a relationship coach/therapist.
- You have at least 2 years of experience independently guiding 1:1 processes.
- You are a member of a professional association.
- You feel a strong affinity with coaching and want to further develop your coaching skills.
- You highly value personal development and are willing to invest in it in the form of time and self-chosen courses/books/supervision to continuously improve and grow.
- You have a professional and neat appearance and are willing to work on behalf of GORT for large corporates and our private clients.
- You are open to improving your commercial skills.
- You are flexibly available.
- You are available about 16 hours per week for GORT clients.
- You can independently undertake a process with a client.
- You are registered with the Chamber of Commerce and can work with us as a freelancer. We have a tax authority-approved model contract.
- You enjoy attending our networking activities such as drinks, regional meetings, and workshops, etc.
- You want to convey to clients that you are a GORT (relationship) therapist.
This is what you will do as a therapist at GORT:
- You will start by creating your profile and indicating suitable locations where you can meet our clients.
- The client has autonomy and can choose a suitable therapist or relationship therapist via the website, which results in high intrinsic motivation.
- In the free orientation session, you will align the process with the client.
- You will have an equal relationship with the client.
- Issues you may encounter as a therapist at GORT include: career guidance, meaning, stress complaints, the combination of personality and work, outplacement, workplace issues, burnout, mild trauma, stress, meaning, imposter syndrome, DSM issues (recognizing them and then referring). We focus on uninsured care, often reimbursed by employers.
- Issues you may encounter as a relationship therapist at GORT include: communication problems in the relationship, the need for more connection, learning to accept past experiences. If there is a real conflict, you can refer to our mediator.
We would like to further expand our team with solution-focused (relationship) therapists so that we can make our mission of ‘enabling valuable insights’ accessible to even more people.
