How much does a normal coaching session at GORT last for?
You have the flexibility to determine the session length yourself, in consultation with your clients.

What’s the minimum entry requirement/qualifications?
The minimum requirement is having completed coaching education and being certified by joining a professional organization such as the ICF. We do have a preference for psychologists who also practice coaching.

How do I know what level of coach you’d consider me in terms of being a medior-level (ACC), senior-level (PCC) or top-level coach (MCC)?
All senior coaches and psychologists have a senior accreditation level, with more than 5 years of work experience. Top-level coaches and psychologists are senior/master accredited, with at least 7 years of work experience. A top-level coach/psychologist is also a strong sparring partner at management level.

How many coaches do you hope to have in the hard launch phase in each city?
We want to select 1-3 top professionals per city in 50 cities outside of Europe.

Is there a charge to whoever enters the hard launch with you?
In the beginning, we usually don’t have a fee or offer a low fee, such as €150. What’s more important to us initially is finding truly excellent coaches.

What kind of onboarding sessions are planned during the hard launch phase?
In the Netherlands, we plan an onboarding day and relevant sessions, such as how to ensure that clients continue after a free orientation session. Please note that most countries outside of Europe will not enter the hard launch phase in the years to come.

Can you elaborate on the role of the dedicated quality manager?
One of our unique selling points is that we have a unique quality management system, where both our quality manager and you can continuously access data on how you as a coach are performing compared to the other coaches in the region. You can access your quality metrics after three clients have completed their coaching trajectory. Key metrics we monitor include the continuation rate after a free orientation session, client ratings in evaluations, your communication style with GORT, and your willingness to engage in self-reflection regarding your performance data. The role of the quality manager is to train and support you in achieving optimal scores on the metrics.

What is the business opportunity we are offering for international coaches?
The business opportunity we are offering for international coaches is the chance to be featured on our website, where they can receive requests for one-on-one coaching sessions in the areas of life coaching, career coaching, executive coaching, and expat coaching. Please note that in the beginning, there may not be many requests as we are still in the process of expanding.

What is the size of the impact you are realistically expecting to make on new markets? 
In the Netherlands, we have become one of the leading players. Outside Europe, we don’t expect to take such a dominant position immediately. Our main goal is to provide a strong offering in key locations for our international clients. Only with a hard launch in a country will we further expand into the market to gain a larger share.

What is the kind of coaching clientele you are hoping to garner in the new cities?
At the moment, we want to offer a service to European companies that have employees in these cities. In the future, it is possible that we will transition to a hard launch and also develop local commercial activities.

Please provide more information about the freelance contract (conditions under which they will become our coaches).
For most coaches, a freelance contract will not be applicable; this will depend on local laws and whether we plan to do a hard launch in that region.

If someone has relocated but they are still interested in participating, what do we do?
If the coach/psychologist no longer has a location in a city that is desirable for us, we will take the profile offline in consultation with them.

How much does the client pay per hour?
This may depend on the agreements with the clients. The prices on the website may be higher than the rates we agree upon with the corporate clients.

If you are expanding into X city, where are your clients based?
Currently, our corporate clients are based in Europe. Our goal is to offer an international service to worldwide employees from these companies, and once this proves successful, we will determine where to proceed with a hard launch on a country-by-country basis.

What sort of hourly rates do you offer for an experienced senior coach, after the hard launch?
Our hourly rates for an experienced senior coach after the hard launch will be slightly lower than during the soft launch, as we aim to make our services accessible to a broader audience. Pricing will be determined based on local economic conditions, ensuring fairness and reachability. We are committed to full transparency regarding the rates we set when entering the market and what we can offer you in return. Our pricing decisions are always made rationally, with the long-term success of both parties in mind. You are free to accept these rates or choose not to participate in the hard launch.

How do potential clients find GORT, and how does GORT find potential clients?
Many potential clients find GORTcoaching through word of mouth, referrals, and our strong presence in the Dutch corporate world. We are well-known among large companies in the Netherlands and are often listed as a preferred supplier for coaching. Our reputation, combined with our evidence-based approach and a nationwide team of professional coaches, helps organizations and individuals trust and choose GORT for their personal and professional growth.

Do you partner with companies and we coach their employees or are they individuals coming for coaching?
Both are possible! We coach individuals as well as employees through company partnerships.

What is the expectation for online versus in-person coaching?
At GORTcoaching, we have a strong preference for in-person, face-to-face coaching. We believe this sets us apart in a world increasingly driven by AI and impersonal digital interactions. While online coaching remains an option for accessibility and flexibility, our focus is on creating deep, meaningful connections that are best fostered through in-person sessions.

I prefer to coach in [Chinese/Spanish/any other language other than english] only. Will this be possible?
This is not possible at the moment, but we expect to support other languages soon.

Once the profiles are live on your website, will it be necessary to pre-set availability as I have seen in the profiles of your current coaches?
No, this is not necessary during the soft launch phase. We will add the availability of our coaching consultant.
